AUBO Robotics was started in 2014 as a collaboration project between three Phd professors from the USA and China. Their mission was to make a lightweight intelligent collaborative robot. This resulting robot (AUBO-i5) was specially designed to combine state of the art technology with user friendliness to make the collaborative robot (co-bot) work well in any environment.
Guide to teach (inverse kinematics motion planning), works side-by-side with humans, lightweight (less than 24kg) and flexible.
Designed in accordance with Pl d and ISO 10218-1, power and force limiting (collision detection), sensors for real-time feedback, emergency stop.
Low cost of ownership, no programing skills needed, small floor space required. Repurpose, redeploy, and/or reinvent applications with the same robot.
Vision systems integrated into controller, ports for TCP/IP, Modbus RTU / TCP, robot platform is used globally for research.
The AUBO-i5 features 6 axes, a 5kg payload, and a 924mm reach.
All this with just a 172mm footprint.
Use for assembly lines where repetitive, labour-intensive tasks are required.
Brings consistent and repeatable processing to polishing work (equal pressure, equal coverage of surfaces).
Apply consistent testing methodologies using a device with negligible variation in test processes.
For clinical tests and trials, the robot brings consistency to dispensed quantities and weights.
Reduce back pressure on your workforce by automating repeatable lifting / loading / unloading / packing operations.
Automate the quality assurance function for manufactured goods, run automated preventative / scheduled maintenance tasks.
